So I cut my nipples off today... Updated pics in post 15

So I know there have been a few threads about if anyone has cut the nipples off of their headlights. Well I have always hated them myself. So today i cut them off and ground them down. then sanded the headlights with 800, 1000, 1500, the 2000 grit. Then cut and buffed them. Turned out amazing!! looks better than new!!! It was too dark to get good pics tonight but i will post them tmrw

as far as the headlight's, go get some cobra headlight's and do the same! V6/Gt headlight's FTL!!!

And you should be sorry! we expected a horrible, blood filled, gruesome thread about how you cut your nipple's off... Now I know more people will come here expecting the same, so go to your kitchen and get a pearing knife and start peeling...

I've been asking myself this questing ever since I bought my 1995 V6 Mustang in 2006: what are these "nipples" for?

Anybody here knows? I haven't found anybody who knows in the past 4 years.

they are used to professionally and correctly aim your headlight's

i did it to my cobra ones as well when i wet sanded and polished them.

haha, the point is a machine can do it and not have a person drive up to a wall and adjust them. I'm sure you knew that though.

it's one of those things that i don't care if it is there or not. but if i'm going to restore some headlights the right way, i'll probably take them off first to save the pad i'm using.

looks awesome...btw, where do you get those dark blue corner lights? I've looked at parts stores around here and the closest thing to it is a sky blue bulb which didnt look very good
