the only thing I need to get used to is the angled edge at the bottom close to where the mirror folds in! it gives a narrower view than I am used to as with the U.S. spec mirror's that are rounded all around and allow for a wider view, but im not complaining... I love them and cant wait to get them painted...

these are smooth with a paintable finish! I believe all the export mirror's had a smooth finish but i'm not sure of that! these have a 95 stamped on the inside just like my oem 96 cobra mirror's which makes them late 95 production or early 96. I have also read that only 96-98 mirror's came textured but i'm not sure if this applied to export mirror's or not!

i may be the minority here but i dont see what's so great about having folding mirrors :dontknow:
i mean most cars and trucks today have them so its nothing really special...
i also think they look better black rather than painted...

but hey its your car so do as you please, and congrats on the acquisition.

The shape is a little more sporty, its not really so much about the foldable part. And getting them painted to match is just something some people like :)

I like them because just like the 03-04 cobra mirror's you can paint just the part of the mirror that fold's and not the eniter mirror or the base! I almost got termi mirror's but I'm glad I held off, did some searching, and found these! :la:

They're rare and different. Its one of the little things that most people wouldn't notice but a 'stang enthusiast would quickly point out.

Pretty cool, can't wait to see them painted

22s and a chain steering wheel didn't come on our cars either, but those aren't cool. LOL

Seriously though, I like the import mirros. Not the termi ones on our cars though, those look like poop.

The chain steering wheel and curb feeler's are on order as well as far as the 22's I cant go that large because I am putting deep dish 13's and hydraulic's on the car :laughing4:
