My buddy took these pics while at the track Friday, thought they were pretty cool so I figured I'd post them up. Just wish he could have gotten a better burnout pic! :tongue3:

what did u run?

My Hoosiers are done for, the best 60' I could manage was like a 1.8xx and it was pulling 1.6's or better all last year. Even with that drop it still ran it's best N/A pass yet 8.5 @ 81.

Only got to make a couple of nitrous passes, still just making sure that everything is good and the bottle pressure was too low, but it ran an 8.0 @ 87 with a 1.9x 60'.

I'd say it's got 8.2x N/A in it with better tire/weather and probably 7.6x's or better on the bottle. Still have a few bugs to work out with timing and what-not, but the car definitely has more in it. I'll probably end up bumping the jet up to a 125 or 150 and get it into the low 7's before it's all said and done.

I was running 1/8 last night, but to compare slips (in a perfect world).

My car ran a 13.446 N/A before with an 8.607 1/8. So just comparing the my better 1/8 it would be roughly a 13.346 N/A 1/4. On the bottle I would assume that it would be in the 12.9xx range comparing with my one nitrous pass, but I honestly think that it will be closer to a 12.5 or 12.6 on the bottle.. This is all just number comparison of course.

no fire jacket? and no helmet???? wtf track is that?

Most tracks around here don't "require" helmets/jackets unless you're on the bottle or running lower than 8.01x times... I'll be wearing a helmet when I start using the bottle.

BTW: It's Music city raceway here in TN.

Yea I wouldnt mess around with that stuff unless I was wearing a jacket and helmet, even slow times with the use of a bottle is still dangerous, you only get one face and if its melted off, its gone.

I think technically NHRA rules are 13.9 or better... Not sure on that.

I'm probably done for the season anyway so I'm not too worried about it. I will most certainly be using them when we get back to Beech Bend though. My foot + nitrous + 1/4 mile = go fast.. lol
