Speedometer gears

My speedometer is broken and I was about to buy this speedometer gear kit from www.latemodelrestoration.com, but then I started wondering whether it matters that my speedometer and odometer are in kilometers, not miles. I'm pretty sure it doesn't but I just want to make sure before I buy it. By the way it's a 95 5.0 with 3.73. Does anyone know if there are different types of speedo gears for km?

The difference is in the gauge on the dash and the layout of the numbers. The gears are the same!
