95 GT, does the long one go in the top hole or the bottom one? Ripped the car apart and don't remember everything. :nono:

Thanks,
Jon

Isn't 1 bolt long with a nut and the other is short(I belive that's how mine was)..The long one goes through the starter, then through the bellhouse and secures with a nut on the other end, then the small one goes through the bellhousing and threads into the starter..I could have the direction of the bolts flip'd but if this is right it's fool proof, if you mess up and mix up the bolts, they both won't bolt up

If you look at the bellhousing, and mock the starter up to it, it will be obvious. One of the bosses on the bellhousing will need a longer bolt to reach it.

Paul.

Cool. Trying to sort things out, got a couple of bolts mixed in with parts for my truck.
