Having problems with the 98 mustang gt ignition system (I think.) At first the fuel pump wouldn't kick in when I turn
the key to run. After changing my ignition switch, I checked the ignition cylinder switch, I found that a wire was loose from a white connector containing four wires under the dash that runs along the steering column. I replaced and spliced it with with a connector from another mustang. However, this time I don't hear the fuel pump or the engagement
of the electronics in the engine compartment.
I believe my car thinks that I'm trying to steal it.
Has anyone ever had this kind of issue?
