Drove the Mustang to town this weekend. I've had the car almost 14 years, and the steering wheel seemed strange, almost angled.....I snapped a couple pics, tell me what you think, this isn't normal is it??

that's not normal. 1.5 inches off? -- something is wrong. The steering column has about 1/4" of room to move (i know because we had to push mine all the way to the left so my shaft could clear the headers.)

Get under the dash and inspect all 4 nuts holding the steering column in place. I wouldnt suggest driving the car until this is determined.

The car is 3.5 hours away, will have to look this weekend. I've tried to twist it left/right, it seems stable. It definitely doesn't feel "normal"......
