ok so I removed the entire mach 460 sounds system out of my car...including my headunit and am just going to be tracking the car without any of it. I am leaving the harness in the car just encase I want to sell the car at some point. The question I have is, the 'audio' fuse says it protects the ignition switch on all the fuse box diagrams I've seen....

what fuse do I need to pull for the stereo being removed. I don't want this stuff to have power going to it without being hooked to anything.

unless you are cutting wires I would not worry about it honestly. More often then not the same fuse will power more then one thing so pulling it you might loose power to something else you want.

also...I guess I need to look deeper into wiring diagrams but I kind of want to pull the whole harness for the mach 460 now that I think about it and sell the whole system....anyone have a write up on this harnesses routing?

the first part of the hrns is part of the main dash hrns. You will have to pull it out completely to get access to it and even then you will have to cut/seperate it from the hrns or replace it completely.

After that it connects in the drivers kick, and goes all the way back to the amps with some grey cables and is easy to pull out.
