I thoguht you would never ask PAULIE...... I just posted it so i could FREAKING rub it on your FACE.... See you don't always know everything and BTW it can be done (at your own risk) but of course PAUL is so smart and he can put you down as if he knew everything and a lot of people here have been through some of the comments by paul even RYCLEFF, Paul never agrees with an idea or something that noone has ever tried he will just say that it is not possible (by his standards) and so you get scared because you don't want to blow your precious 5Liter and back down from any ideas you have. I beleive it, I saw an article many moons ago where a stock, cast piston 350 took up to 425 hp on the dyno, it's just unwise and won't last very long.
I know street racer's around Cleveland here that use stock shortblock's under their H/C/I until they boom in a month or so, and just swap em out like dirty underpants, lol.
I wouldn't do it, you wouldn't do it, but there's always some fool around to do something goofy, have it work twice, and proclaim to the world that it will work awesomely

There is such a thing as WISE advice and then just plain ole BS Advice.... I think Paul, Rycleff and several others are simply trying to give you WISE advice so you dont go out and blow something up. Yeah, we can all sit here and say "oh hell yeah 250 shot of NO2 wont hurt a thing on a stock lower end" if thats what you want to hear. Besides, it is your car, your money and if you want to run it with a 250 shot, thats entirely up to you. I mean damn... You are what 20 years old? I remember when I was 20, I knew more than everyone else did too. I did a LOT of things my dad told me NOT to do with engines.. 99.99999% of the time he was right.
I am with these other guys....... Ill believe it when it lasts the summer and you are able to tear it down and prove to us that your engine SURVIVED multiple 250 shots. Until then, I believe you are sitting on a ticking time bomb, because I too was there once.....

Is it really worth dynamiting your engine for one run?
I read in your earlier posts that this was your daily driver. So does this mean you have found something else in the mean time, for when you engine explodes?
In all reality, this is feasible, but not for you. If your on a fixed budget, you obviously cant afford to rebuild your engine after every time you spray it, so why would you even try? You'll end up saving yourself a lot of money and time in the long run if you'll just listen to guys with EXPERIENCE, rather then talkin out of your ass. These people are not trying to be assholes, their just trying to save you the time, frustration, money, and embarrassment, when you decide to be mr bigshot and spray when everyones watching you. People have given their opinions, so quit fishing around for some other dumbass to tell you it will be ok and give some false sense of security.
Also, I agree, its all talk until you give some hard evidence.

In all seriousness, if you want to use NO2 be preparred. If you want to use NO2 correctly, build your engine for that use. Instantly adding that much power is going to create a ton of stress on your engine. Stress a stock 5.0 is not designed and built to handle. All it takes is one part to fail to start a chain reaction of parts failing. If this is your dd then you are going to get a lot of use out of your thumb, hitching rides.

Well it is just that PAULIE here is not a nice advisor IMO but i can take advice from anyone who is willing t ohelp and not put you down, like RYCLEFF. just my 0.02cents oh and BTW i don't have to show you guys how my 5.0 liter survives a 250 blast but when the carnage comes i'll post the pics otherwise just stay tuned.....

I must be real meanie head since I'm telling you (and everyone else is agreeing) that it's not a good idea to spray 250 on a stock motor. :aresehole: That is especially true since it's your daily driver.
