I would not push more then 500 RWHP.

^^Maybe with a good tune.....

BUt it seems like 450Rwhp is the 'limit" for a stock 4.6 bottom end....weak link is the rods and pistons....
also RPMs kills a motor too....no need to raise the stock rev limiter...

there is no magic hp number to stay under. there are hundreds of guys out there pushing 450+ rwhp on the stock motor with no problems. hp isnt what kills these motors, its detonation and constantly high rpms. drive it normal and it will be fine, but abuse it and it will tell u to fuck off... just my take on it, ive seen a couple cars recently pushing 470-550 rwhp on stock shortblocks. not saying to go out and test your luck, but im saying that your not gunna find a 100% end all answer to how much power the stock motors can take.

o0o and ive seen maybe 3 cars in the past 2 years ive been on multiple stang forums that have blown the motor when driving casually(as casual as possible) with 400+ rwhp. and 2 of the times the guys where acting foolish on a cold morning...

Since it is a cobra it different than the gt. I have seen alot running 450-525 around here but it does depend on driving , tune, and tha car its self
