This one is new for $100/shipped and claims it fits 94-94. *No Cobra, Bullitt, or Machs though

Will the New Edge braces fit a 98?
I will hazard a guess that if a 94 would not fit on a new edge, that the new edge would not fit on a 94. I could be wrong but as I have said the mounting on the firewall was different from the one I tried.

Looks like it's more of a hood clearance issue with some of the New Edge braces. Found a thread where someone Termi-swapped their 96, and the 03-04 brace wouldn't fit under a 96-98 Cobra hood.

what i did i was get the STB for the engine that was in the car. so its effectively a 99 which meant i needed a 99+ cobra STB.
i had to eliminate the arms going back because of my jlt intake on my mack 1 plenum and the car handles like a mofo.
this also meant i had to clearance the hood because that particular style has a huge hoop on one side.

its hotrodding. use your best judgment and modify what doesn't fit perfectly.

i ended up putting one from a cobra on my 95 gt because the gt 40 intake i have is to big
the regular gt one would not let me mount it
just a thought for those bigger intakes
