I have a svo side exhaust system on my 94 gt. I am going to be needing some sub frame connectors sooner then later with the mods I have planned. I know spinntech makes some connectors for side exhaust systems, but wondered if anyone had used them yet? I was also wondering if anyone with the through-floor connectors could show what those look like inside? I have no kids so I already deleted my backseat so it would not be a bid deal at all to do it that way. I am planning on mounting some componants there so I need to know what it looks like. Thanks in advance....

Id like to know too, I'm having issues of my side exhaust hitting my subframe connectors

I looked up the spinntech subframe connectors, they look like the way to go to solve side exhaust clearance issues

I thought the spintech were not a full-length though and I was told if you do connectors do full-length? The through floor is supposed to be fine as well but I have never seen what they look like.

my Borla side exhaust clears my Kenny Brown Subframe connectors but damn it's close, on big bumps you can hear the pipes hit and it sucks. There's also almost zero ground clearance, I don't even have my side skirts on yet and I'm thinking about going back to a rear exit exhaust.

there is a reason I have not lowered my car, and that is because I like the sideskirts too much....

I was also thinking about having my side exhaust modified some by a shop so they would go around my current subframes but I dont know what would end up being more work or cheaper for me, doing that or removing my current SFC and having new ones put on. I would assume having the exhaust modified b/c they would just have to weld in an additional bend, its just making sure it exits in the exact spot as before

Anyone know how many steps back I'll be taking by removing my subfames for the time being so that I dont have side exhaust issues. I'm asking b/c I also have a 6 point cage that adds a lot of rigidness

Call Spintech... they sell full length subframe connectors for our mustangs. They are stepped. Most Roush owners run them in conjunction with our stock SFC's. Weld them to the spintechs and they are triangulated for the strongest setup. Its something I've been planning on doing since the stock SFC's don't do much.

thats cool that they will work, but if anyone has a pic it would help? I was told something about the through-floor connectors but can't seem to find anthing about them. Does anyone run them or know anything about them?

I'll see what I can find on the Roush Site. As far as through the floor subframes, I know that Griggs Racing SFC's are but it obviously requires cutting of the floorboards...

MadStang you ever scrape that exhaust pipe where it goes under the SFC?

come on seriously? Mine's low too and I only had it on for like a month and I scraped maybe 4-5 times already. Not good considering I want to lower my car more...
