Just take your time and follow the instructions that came with it. Also make sure you have your suspension loaded like you would be driving it. IE, make sure you have a full tank of gas in the car.

Sweet. My lil bro an I just put some on my car a couple weeks back and they are awesome. They really make the car feel solid. We gutted the interior as a precaution and to clean but I'm not sure that is necessary. Hope all goes well.

No its not necessary to strip the interior to weld in frame connectors...I can understand the precaution, but keep a water bucket or hose or preferably an extinguisher nearby, just in case...

A little preperation note: just make sure to thoroughly clean the areas that are going to be welded, ie. wire brush and wipe down with a cleaner (that doesnt leave a film) and then once they are welded, squirt some paint onto the welds to prevent rust....

He got the subs from MM. After watching my brother do the welding, the gutting of the interior was overkill. Def use some primer. The instructions suggested weld through primer. We couldn't get a hold of some though. So we primered before and after. Here's some pics:

Yeah it is. The toughest part was dealing with the lack of space. We only had ramps but no prob. When do plan on installing yours?

we are doing it in a few weeks. we plan on getting the car up off the ground as much as possible. I am making some platforms our of cross arms off power polls that should get the tires up off the ground around 7in. I may try to get some more if i can so we can have plenty of room.

well, got the old sub frames off the car today. was a job considering I dont have any really good way to cut the old welds and such. but got it done none the less. the old ones are about half the length of the mm's and weigh more. looks like a custom job someone through on the car before I bought it. I just cant wait to get the full lengths on the cobra.

I bought the Granatelli subframes and it only took about an hour 1/2 to install. All we did was sand down the parts of the subframe that would weld to the car due to them already being painted. Then it was just weld away!
