Anyone remember me? What's happened since I took a leave in april? Update me!

anyway, sypnopsis of my months without a snive: learned foxbody's suck and i"ll never own another unless I build it myself, learned that not having a running mustang for 6-7 months sucks, and I now know that girls SUCK.

ANYWHO, the real purpose of this thread is that I hope to buy this gem of a car on friday:

man I loved your old car... welcome back

Yeah so did i... LOL

lost my job because my manager was my ex's best friend, so I had to let her go. The car and the ho. College + mustang insurance, and tanks of 93 octane don't go well together without a job.

Well ??? did you get it

yeah, picked it up today.

the trans may be bad though. i'm not complaining for the price i paid, it was very low.

grinds shifting into any gear (double clutching resolves that). recently had a new clutch put in, engages just about right off the floor. Hoping a better adjustable setup may aid it. Seems like the cable is stretched or the plastic quadrant is messed up. Worst case scenario I buy a tko, lol.

I guess you plan on reselling since you won't tell us the cost you paid :)

Get a new cable first and check the stock plastic quadrant then go from there.

Get some pics and whats all done to it......

hehehe... that or i"ll drive it until the wheels fall off.

i"ll order a full adjustable setup either this check or next check. I put my pro-ripper out of my foxbody on it, but it didn't agree to that at all. I ended up putting the stocker back on after scaring myself to death with the wrong shift stop adjustment doodads, i"ll put it back on when I get the new cable setup.

Anyway, I believe it has a newer motor from a junkyard, some of the vacuum connections have been cut and spliced back together, the alternator is marked with chalk (something they do to organize around here in some yards), and the motor doesn't smoke at 150kmi on the odo. Also has new valve cover gaskets on it (although one leaks, think it needs new hardware).

BBK or/h, flowmaster catback, BBK CAI, 3.73's, and more to come assuming I don't blow it up first.
