Hey guys. I have a slight issue. I just install my new engine and it's built for forced induction so I just got a simple "bama" SCT Tuner from American Muscle and had their guys do the custom tune for my car. I did go with a 75MM Tb, with the JLT fender CAI and a "Cardone Performance Select" Maf/Housing from Advance. I just got around to installing the A/F wideband today, but didn't get to hook it up to the midpipe. I did put a new IAC, and had a new TPS on it, but returned to the stock TPS after the issue wasn't fixed.

The issue is, one day it will idle fine, the next it won't. It drives perfect, other than a "braking" feeling at 2K rpms when I'm cruising in 3rd. It feels like the brakes grab for 2 seconds, then let go over and over again. I'm going to do a compression test tomorrow and fix the exhaust leak for the 3rd time.

Here's a video of the idle issue... Don't mind the fuel pump, it's going out the door here soon.

"cardon" "performance" "maf" .... no reason to not go with a Lightning maf from FRPP one out of a truck.... ever they are good and almost never have issues

I was going to go with the Lightning maf but I went with the "cardone select performance" is because I got it brand new for free. It's a "premium" quality maf for the sn95 from advance auto parts. 'm not going to be N/A long and didn't want to spend any money that I didn't have to for the N/A setup. I changed out the "cardone" maf with the original one and it's running better. I unplugged the IAC and ran it with cardone maf, JLT CAI and it would idle at 600 after I revved it up to 2K when I started the car. I plugged IAC back in, changed MAF to stock and it's running better. I'm going to go for a drive and see what's going on with the hesitation at 2K rpm when driving.
