I've been noticing lately that the backend of my 1997 Mustang GT Convertible is alittle lower than the front. I have Eibach Sport springs 1.5" drop. I measured from the ground to the highest point of the lip of the fend at my fronts were 27" and both my rears were 26.5". I'm eventually going to put some UPR control arms and new Energy Suspension F/R Isolaters later on during the winter.

How could cure this for now?
Cut half a coil?

I have long tube headers with a catted mid pipe and so mac flowpath dumps.

so clearence to the ground is already precious.

You could take and remove one of the front Isolators and see if that works, but then your talking about installing new oens soon so I guess you could take and cut a 1/4- 1/2 coil and see what happens.

or throw some polyurathane isolators in the back, that will usually raise it a little bit. i know with those LT headers you dont want to loose any ground clearance in front, so i would suggest this. maybe just the bottom ones, change those to poly ones

my stock isololaters in the rears look beat up and just starting to squeak from the metal to metal contact. i think i'll just take the a couple inches out of the front springs till i go tubular. thanks

ya, isolators would be a relatively quick fix.
or you could get adjustable LCA's and set the back where you want it.

I'm happy on how the backend sits but te front is where I just don't like it.
