SVT HHHHEEEEEELLLP!

i'm getting all my body work done at a local shop but need an authorized svt dealership with a body shop to repaint my mystic cobra. basf will only let svt body shops paint it. so anyone in north carolina or the top end of SC that works at one of these shops let me know and i'd be happy to bring the car to you to be painted. really appriciate any responses. thanks guys.

Your best bet will probably be to start calling the local dealers in your area and seeing if they can do it for you.

Ford likes their mystic paint.. you can't just ask for svt to send you some to repaint your car.

I have heard you need proof that the car has been in a wreck or proof that it NEEDS paint. Something crazy like that. Well good luck, haha.

2) get estimate
3) go to ford
4) order paint
5) they deliver the paint to the dealer
6) you spray the color
7) basf comes and cleans the gun, takes ALL the color left over, all the paper/tape with the color on it
8) you have a freshly painted car
9) oh yea... pay for it

The pigments in the mystic paint are the same pigments used in U.S. currency. That is why it is so dificult to get ahold of. Big brother is watching you.

The Mystic paint isnt really that hard to get I am having my own body shop do the work on mine not a problem getting paint. I called BASF in my home state and they said they could get me what ever I wanted but the paint isnt cheap by no means. you use to have to send it in to ford and ford would call basf and they would send an adjuster down with enough paint to paint the car and what ever wasnt used went back with him. he showed up in an armored truck too. thats what i was told about three years ago. that isnt anymore. good luck with your mystic
