Just installed my solid Cobra rear sway bar today. i installed my Cobra front a couple weeks ago.

both sway bars were sanded, primed, painted Ford Red, and cleared. i have a few nicks to touch up, but i dont car too much about them lol.

the cobra front didnt make a big difference IMO, but the rear bar made a huge difference. Before i felt like it was so easy to loose it in a burnout, and now i can ride burnouts out very sideways and feel in control (i did a short test drive) and the car feels a lot stiffer.

Soon i will replace the cobra front with a ST front.

How you liking those sway bars?

did you read my whole post aaron? :crazy2:

i love the cobra rear, but the cobra front didnt do much.

the cobra rear makes the car feel stiffer, tighter, handle burnouts better and hard acceleration better. great cheap mod

You installed a Cobra Front?

.....FYI, the stock GT front sway bar is actually thicker and stiffer than the cobra front

i did not know that. i bought the cobra rear, but was sent the cobra front by accident, so he said keep the cobra front and he'll send me the rear also, so i just painted it and put it on. i sent him an extra $20 for shipping.

hopefully i can sell it when i'm ready to get the ST in a week or 2

cool link.

"Adding a rear sway bar not only reduces understeer, it also makes the car more likely to oversteer. -- for the rear end to lose adhesion and swing out when cornering. That makes the car more fun to drive (it turns quicker), but also more dangerous because it could lead to a spin-out."

I like having a stiff rear end.... i <3 oversteer

.... You wont spin out if you know the ancient technique or Countersteer

that is a badass video, even if it is all japped out. i watched 8 min of it, i'll watch the rest later

i drive like that only every once in awhile, when i find a road that no one goes on and isnt going to completely shred my tires. i'm really worried about tired b/c i love the onces i have but cant afford to replace, so my driving is a little lighter than usual right now
