Not much trafic here but i try.
2001 GT Convertible. Street car but i like good handling.
BC coilovers with camber plates and now MM FLSC:s, HD LCA:s and new stock uppers with new bushes. Alignment done, both toe and camber.
The rear is now so good that something has to be done in front to match. Car feels understeering and not willing in turn in. Have softened damping in front and lowered front tire pressure but still not OK.
Thinking of MM offset front A-arms. Would increased caster give more balanced handling or do i have to start thinking of heavier rear sway bar? To ship heavy long items as swaybars to Sweden would probably cost a fortune so trying to avoid that. Also cannot find any adjustable bars for rear. Or maybe a front strut tower brace could help some. Can get a BBK locally for reasonable price, MM which would prefer has been out os stock for some time.
Maybe some of chassie specialists could point me in right direction!

This link has a “cheat sheet” for dialing in suspension. Could be more than one way to handle the situation you’re in without waiting for parts.

Thanks, very good link. Will start with the least costly options like tire pressures and damping adjustment.
Interesting thing is the sheet says "soften front springs" as a means to cure understeer which to me seems logical but i have been chatting with Josh at MM and he thinks my front springs are too soft. Now have 400lb springs on the BC coilovers which is quite high so maybe my rear springs are too soft instead, i get a feeling when driving that they could be so.

To have an end on this i found what the problem was.
When i bought the car it already had BC coilovers. It handled reasonably balanced for what it was.
Then i welded on MM FLSFC:s and put on their upper and lower rear control arms.
Car started understeer heavily.
So i started to look at the front coil overs and they were assembled wrong!
It only had 3/4" travel from neutral position upwords before the wheel was in the air! So when in corners the inner wheel had very little if any grip and of course it would understeer.
Could not feel this so clearly when the body was flexing but with the subframe connectors it was another story.
Easy fix mounting the damper 1 1/2" upwards in the lower mount and lowering the lower spring perch downwards the same and now most of the understeer is gone.
Will buy the MM offset A-arms anyway sooner or later anyhow so still intrested in opinions on them.

Those coilovers have helper springs to maintain a small amount of preload?
No. The preload in BC:s is created by loading the spring 1/4" from free lenght. Then adjusting car height moving the damper up/down in lower mount. THis was done wrong so threr was only 3/4" of rebound travel.
