Hello everyone, first post here and first mustang for that matter. In a few weeks I will aquire a 94 GT that's completely unmolested. It currently belongs to an 87 year old lady who bought it new in 94. She's buying a new Shelby Cobra (no joke) and I'm buying the GT from her. It's only got 44K miles on it and never had a single part replaced except for a belt and hoses. Never been wrecked either, and probably never been driven over the speed limit.

Anyway...

It's an automatic and I'm curious how hard it is to switch it over to a manual tranny. Anybody ever done that here, or know of someone who has?

Also, what are some good options for a shifter if I keep the auto? Surely there's something better to use for hard shift's than the stock setup.

3000-3500 stall, shift kit, and 4.10's will own a manual anyday.
