Sometimes when parking my transmission sticks in first gear (it won't release it) and reverse, I usually brake or use the e-brake and release the clutch (double clutching) untill I feel it's released and then I put it either in 1st or reverse again, clutch is a centerforce df less than a year old and the clutch cable is 2 months old, I do have a hurst shifter in there, any ideas what could be causing this?; Thanks.

Oh, did I mention those were crap until tremec started making them for the cobra. I get rid of it and get a tremec 3650. They shift really smooth.

I'm thinking you have a worn syncronizer blocking ring.

That's it, and they were crap after Tremec started making them too. I shattered a stock one in half, shattered a Tremec one in half, and shattered a Promotion one in half.

You're right there JR all t45's are crap. They just can't handle any power. But supposedly the ones in the it think 97 98 cobras were supposed to have a few improved parts over the borg warner T45's. But if you're going to keep the car for awhile and drive it hard I wouldn't put a T45 back in it. It would be a waste of money.
