t56 in a 98gt

how do i put a t56 in a mustang gt?? i have the t56 from an 03 cobra?? my main question is what kind of crossmember should i use that would fit??

Does the bellhousing bolt up?? Id imagine the blocks are similar if not the same... but as far as cross member, youd have to get the one that came with the trans.

block and bell housing are the same, you need a shortened driveshaft and a custom built cross member. they sell T56 swap kits out there with the driveshaft and cross member.
