Why is my factory Tach not working right. It seams to freeze up at times like around 2500 rpms and then starting working for a little bit and freeze again. I changed the cam sensor to see if that would help but no change. MY oil presser gauge jumps around sometimes and then sometimes it quits for a min. then goes right back to normal.

Does the tach and the oil pressure gauge act up at the same time or independently of each other?

oil level sender sensors are known to crap out. they also work independently from odometer. VSS sensor or worm gear in the cluster is possibly on the fritz.

You might want to pull the cluster out and look at the back of it to see if there is anything obvious.
