As much as I love being unique, the 96-98 lights just look better. If my car came with the 94/95 I don't think I would put in the effort to change them, because they look fine, but I am extremely glad that my 94 came to me with the 96-98 lights already. It's a lot different, in my opinion, to change the tail lights in comparison to changing badges claiming to be a Cobra or the like. :dunno:

i switched mine from 94/95 to 96-98 and didnt have to change the wire harness... and i personally have to go with the 96-98 lights, the 94/95's look really cheap and for some reason get dirty a lot quicker.

the vertical tail lights use a different harness. They plug into the same place, but the vertical tails use an additional bulb over the horizontals.

hmmm, then the lights i got must of already had the right harness because all i had to do was unscrew the 3 nuts or whatever from each tail light, switch the tail lights, plug it in, and put the nuts back on...

I was going to buy 96-98 verticals but Im going to buy cleared headlights instead. I like the look of the horizontals on the SN-95 body style, it adds a unique touch to it, and the fact that 94-95 were the last 5.0 days. Maybe the new 5.0L(rumoured) will have horizontals too.

Highly doubtful if it is going to continue with the retro theme, but that would be interesting.

LRS, sells them for some crazy price. Like 75 or something, because I was going to switch. However I think I have grown to like the horizontal ones. Makes the ass end look wider and meaner. :whip:

When I swapped mine I used the 94-95 harness. I simply removed the small socket using the 194 bulb. I picked up a new socket and wired it in. I wired so all 3 bars light up the same and all flash.
