My temp guage does not work. It is ALL the way the left. It has never moved an inch.
It was like that when I got the car.

So how can I fix this or check it out?
What would cause this? Thinking something is not plugged,
because I was told there were a few swaps done by the prevous owner. Was said a 5.0 was put in it then 4.6 back in.
Could they have not put something back where it should have been? Or what..

i suggest starting with a fuse... a $0.05 fuse and 10 minutes of checking might save you alot of time trying to track down the problem.

Checked fuses and there was one blown. Replaced it but my gauge still does not work.
I'm not sure what the fuse went to but it was blown so i replaced it.

Also put a jumper on the sensors and my gauge didn't peg out.
So doesn't that mean theres a problem with the gauge?

Mine's never worked. Tried the sending unit, tried fuses, everything. It seems this problem is mildy common, and noone has really been able to figure anything out. Seems like it's some kind of wiring problem. I just bought an aftermarket gauge, I'm sure as hell not tearing my wiring harness apart for an on/off temp gauge.
