So, I was looking through my old pics of my build to see if anything apparent stuck out at me regarding my knock... like "OMG look at that main-cap bolt sticking out. how did i miss that." and I was talking with Aaron in the chat box and showed him a pic of ARP bolts on the connecting rods...

Question:
did late-production 04 cobras come with ARP connecting rod bolts?

No as far as I know they didn't come with arp connecting rod bolts.

this website says it uses ARP from the factory... but it doesnt seem like a very reliable source of information. lol.

Haven't had to crack one open for a while. But that's awesome if they do use them from the factory. It's not a bad idea for these high powered engines for sure

They did come with arp from the factory. 110% sure. Though it's common for the termi guys to upgrade them to arp2000s.

anyone know if they are TTY bolts? I upgraded as well to ARP 2000.

the rebuild book i had specified to torque them as TTY, since it was ARP we didnt do the whole strech thing.
