I floored it going on to a highway and shifted like you did, let off the gas and clutch in looking for second and let the clutch out and gave it the gas again and it was neutral. I thought I just missed a shift but then I could connect second gear so I put it in third and got off on the next exit, when I put it back in first to take off from the stop, the shifter was locked in first. So, I had to limp home going about 15. Long story short, the tranmission popped and fortunatly the place I bought it from accepted the responsibility and swapped in a used transmission at their expense and all I had to do was pay for a new clutch because as long as the transmission was out I figured I should put a new one in. I neverasked or heard what went in it but was happy they didn't tel me to go pound sand.</p></blockquote><p></p>
