I have a 95GT and live in Miami. A lot of people tell me that i should remove my Thermostat. Anyone with experience with this would be a big help. I just replaced my radiator and water pump. The car is a lot cooler then before but while driving in the city it tends to reach the (A) In Normal..Is That normal??

No thermostat is not good, the car will not run normally and the ecu will not respond accordingly.
You can fit a 180 stat which is what most people go for, stock is 190.

That depends on what climate you live in. I've run cars with no thermostat in Phoenix for years, and they work fine.

180* the T stat is there for a reason and there isnt a good reason to delete it

If there's no thermostat, there's nothing to fail shut and overheat your motor. :)

running no thermostat could possibley make the car run hotter because the water is not in the rad long enough to cool effectively. your just passing the hot coolant through the rad faster. IMO run the 180

The T-stat also provides a restriction to maintain pressure in the system. Without it, there can be hot spots in the heads and ruin them (warp). Engine builders (Falconer, Loyning, Ivey, etc.) will use a blank gasket with a small (+3/8") hole in it.

I use a Fail-Safe 180...it fails in the open position. :thumb:

It hasn't been very hot here this year, plus I haven't been sitting in much traffic. Also when I got my tune the tuner set the fans to come on sooner to help keep it running cool while idling.
