Should have known the "you should be beating the shit out of it because it's a Mustang" crew would have shown up.  Some of us don't have weekend/fair weather cars that get run hard and put away wet, some of us only have our trusty Stangs as our DD.  Christ, mine's all-stock except a Pro5.0 and a removed intake silencer and a Pioneer deck with a bad ground.  There's nothing wrong with me for missing a gear (none of you are perfect, either, park your damn egos) and/or not driving the piss out of the car every time out.  There's a time and a place.  I've been around these cars since I was in grade school... respecting and enjoying the Mustang legend.  There's a world out there past beating the fuck out of your car...You'll get there...  As for my trans, still a little noisy on decel, no louder than normal under load.  Shifts are still smooth as a TR3650 will let them be.  I think it's safe to say I dodged a hell of a bullet.</blockquote>
