Better tell my Mac H pipe it has no business bolting up to my BBK equal length headers then. Unless you are talking about long tube's? but my bbk shorties work just fine with my mac h.

He is talking long tubes. shorties are pretty universal and i guess long tubes aren't.

Yes, that's what this thread is about, right? Any stock replacement aftermarket H pipe will work with any shortie header, that's just common sense. The long tubes however are proprietary so you have to break down and buy their H, or whatever midpipe.

I also run 9's with shortie headers, and guess what, I run motorsport shorties or mac shorties. Both work well.

yep sure were! That was in response to someone speaking about long tubes versus shorties. My response about the H's not interchanging was about long tubes. Like I said, everyone knows or should, that any shortie H or X or PC will work with any set of shorties. The only ones I've ever heard any issues on was the Bassani's I believe, and they will work, but not as well as when the bassani headers and off road pipe are combined. I used Bassani 1 3/4 shorties on my 600 hp vert, but I had the X pipe custom made to work with them.

Whats the part number for the Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts I need on Summit? Do I need the sqaure or oval gaskets?

Gasket is 1415, take the time to just look them up man. Need 1" long units if you have thick flanges
