There's a guy here in Florida that actually does make Focus' fast. He built one that placed 6th overall in the One Lap of America.

have you seen the focus rs8 ...its a focus rwd with the 5.0 cammer in it ...i thinks it outta fl.

Could be the same shop. This guys generally puts in a tuned 4.6L 2V with a TR3650 and an 8.8 rearend. He adds quite a bit more than that but those are the big changes.
