Wow, nice numbers and at a decent price for the kit. I dont know much about turbos or forced induction in general but compared to other prices ive seen, i think thats a pretty good one.

Its made out of 304 stainless steel. It'll crack, and warp, and fall apart. If it was mild steel manifolds it'd be alot different.

Im sure you could get it to work/...its def. worth a try considering the price.

How long before it starts falling apart or the turbos take a shit on you...lol

You get what you pay for.

Who knows what kind of problems you will have wth fitment and hoow long the kit wil last.

Maybe it will be fine...but I doubt it will be as quality as a 4-5k dollar kit

I bet the kit they are running on that 16psi mustang is with all the upgraded parts you can upgrade too.. Which with all the upgrades doubles the price. If you read it says you need the tubular k-member kit and other stuff to make it work. The basic kit is just the piping/cheap turbo/intercooler.

Yep.
Kit alone is $1825
Requires a tubular K-member which is $650 for a Granatelli from them. That puts you around $2400 in parts alone right there. Chances are, if you go tubular K, you're going to upgrade other suspension components as well. Etc etc etc. Chances of the kit fitting without extensive modification is slim (IMO atleast).

Remember this.

Cheap, fast, reliable. Pick any two.

so who doesnt want a mustang with a tubular k-member and a turbo kit

Last time I checked, your better off seam welding the stock K-member. Many of the Tubular set ups are much softer and if your doing anything but drag racing the car, run the chance of deforming under stress. Also, that's a grand you could put else where.

Turbos are badass but at this point still seems a lot more cost effective to go with a supercharger.

Especially considering the fact that you wont be running any large amounts of boost with stock internals.

Why wouldn't you just spend the larger amount of money and buy a QUALITY turbo kit that fits without having to change things? Go ahead and buy a kit made with 304 stainless. Mild steel > *

A lot of turbo kits require an aftermarket kmember and plenty of people run them on their daily drivers, so no big deal there.
No one on here can say that it is a bad quality kit because no one here has one.
