What kind of throttle body and plenum you have?
Do you have any issues with the TPS?
Is 75MM way to much for non-pi cars?
Overall, what should I expect when cruising, how does the car react?

These are the questions I have for you guys who upgraded your TB and Plenums. I just want some feedback on which company you chose and why?

I went the Bullitt manifold route. My buddy just got the Dragon plenum with the cobra throttle body and it's badass not gonna lie. He and I are dead even

Nice, I heard of dragon plenum. I think Most of them have the same exact flow it really just comes down to quality. The TB might be more important because the function it performs.

they are both relatively important. I "suppose" areguably you could say the TB is the one you want to upgrade first, but thats because it's one of the restrictions (blade going through the center of the air-flow)...

either way, a bottle-neck is a bottle-neck.

I suggest acuufab first and foremost. I had issues with my used unit and they fixed it no questions asked. sent me replacement gaskets and everything.

second up appears to be dragon. everyone loves their product. I've never had experience with them.

I am torn between the 70mm or 75mm Accufab combo. Later down the road I want to add race ported heads and cams with matching intake flow, but for right now 70mm would be perfect but I like spending money the right way you know.

Anyone had experience with Trickflow and C&L plenums? Never really heard anything bad about them except for trickflow you cant get the throttle cable in without modifying it.

Running the Dragon Plenum myself along with the pro products 75mm TB on my 99. Never had a problem with it.

I'm running a 75mm bbk tb and c&l plenum in a stroked/cammed pi motor. No problems to speak of. Trying to get my long tubes put on next weekend, then a tune. I drive my car 70 miles a day, year round. I'm happy with the tb/plenum combo to this point.

Accufab...probably the best on the market. I got mine after reading a test done by Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords. It showed that the Accufab gave the best gains for a 2v 4.6......

Accufab is definitely ahead of the game in regards to quality.

However, i'm a broke college student so I got a used MAC 75mm tb and plenum. I haven't had any problems with them.
Response is pretty nice now that I have the whole intake side of my car done.

I used a bbk 75mm and c&l plenum back in the day. If I was in the market for a new setup I would get one of those all in one units like bbk has.

I think I remember Tony having some issues with one. He may be able to tell you what he had problems with.

Great responses guys, does going to big 75MM or 78MM(BBK) causes the our little 281's to act like civics? For example no low, and all high after the 3,000 RPM Hit? I was reading up on it people say that 70MM gives the best of both worlds tho.

I can't give you a very sure fire answer but I know with my 01 Cobra style throttle body with the Bullitt intake manifold, I definitely got a noticeable GAIN in power, rather than a loss. But the reason I can't give you a good answer is because my whole setup is different than yours lol. BUT my buddy said around town with his setup (dragon plenum, polished single blade accufab cobra t/b) that it feels a tad more putsy, but get it on the highway he said it really feels stronger. He definitely gets a better jump on me now. He always got the 4.10 jump because I have 3.73's but it's a little jumpier now lol. But we lined up against an 03 with a procharger on it yesterday, and we both killed it soo.... I'd have to say they add power

I kind of get the idea. I just do not want it to feel like dog under 3k because the TB is so big, I might just get the 75MM because I do not have to upgrade in the future when I put better heads/cams on the car.

To be honest it's not going to feel any different with either of them. Your stock intake is a bottle neck and kills the car above 4500 rpms. The basic bolt on mods did almost nothing on these npi's until we swapped pi intakes on. We you are now is where a lot of us were 15 years ago. If I knew then what I know now I would have skipped the cai and tb plenum etc and put all that money away for the blower and pi swap.

I am going above and beyond, so TFS is my direction along with a high flow manifold to compliment so thats why I wanted some feedback on the 75MM unit, I can reuse the TB for other manifolds instead of selling it. You are definitely right with the 4500 rpms, the car just runs out of steam like the old 5.0L's, but then again these npi engines were designed like them so they have similiar problems.
