time for a better fuel system

Hey guys, I'd like some help planning out my fuel system. I have the same 302 with ported E7s, E-cam and a explorer intake. My current fuel system includes a 190 in-tank pump, Paxton AFPR and 19 lb squirters. My immediate plans call for a single turbo [ est 380-425 rwhp] but I would like a little "room to grow" in my fuel system for future HCI/displacement mods. Aeromotive's website plots out a few different routes to take but I'm on a budget [aren't we all :)] and would, maybe, like to hear what some of you guys are running.

Swap your injectors for 42s, get a different MAF, a 255 lph in-tank and a t-rex inline and call it a day. You don't need any aftermarket rails or lines. Building big fuel systems costs big bucks - I know because I've done several for both me and friends.

sounds like a plan paul. who do you recommend for a MAF? i have a 75mm? from a cobra that i'm not using, would that work?

IMO i would go ahead and get 60# injectors (for room to grow), 255 hiflow intank pump and a bap. As far as maf, if you're not looking to spend a ton of money i would get a lmaf. The lmaf will peg at around 450ish rwhp so if you're looking to stay under that you should be fine. If you would like more then you could get a mafia to go along with the lmaf. I had that fuel system on my old foxbody and it worked flawless.

Do a quick search and you'll get some results on which MAF. There's been a lot of discussion about the LMAF vs other ones.

I think the Ford 42s and LMAF are so cheap that it's hard to wrong with 'em. You can also ask whoever is going to do your tune what MAF they recommend.

My recommendation:

60lb injectors, PMAS Velocity Meter, GSS340 Hi-Pressure 255lph pump and a T-Rex pump.


I am not a fan of the Mafia...it's a band-aid.
