ok i have a 95 5.0 auto car.....so far it has gears, built aode, 3600 stall, long tubes....and full exhaust, c&l cai and mass air meter, trick flow stage 1 cam, and gt40 intake....since i did the intake i have changed my timming a few times...the place i got the cam from said to set the timming at 14 advance...well i take the car to the track last night and even on the street sometimes it starts to ping out like a spark knock...or timming off...or not enough octane...it was running 93 octane....well so i backed the timming down to base timming and it didnt seem to ping out any more but the time i ran did not improve any....so what do ya'll sugest setting the timming at...and what should a car with these mods be running close to in the 1/8th mile

thanks
