Totaled my truck today.

well I totaled the truck today. Was heading up to friends house for some PS3 gaming. Another car pulled off a side road in front of me, I never saw them until it was to late and I hit the car going about 50MPH. Both her door and steering wheel air bags went off, neither one of mine did and I slammed my head off the steering wheel. Both of us went to the hospital. I'm fine other then a huge knot above my eye and a black eye that looks like looks like rampage jackson lit me up. Pretty sure the insurance company will total it out, its damaged pretty bad. Better the truck then the Mustang I guess. It was paid off in 2 more payments.

You'd be surprised. I hit a deer, damage looks to be minimal (for sure looks better than yours) and it was totalled.

and to whomever asked, yes, the 2011 F150 will have a 6.2 option, but I believe thats only in the nicer models. I already asked about it in a regular cab. lol

I take it that the rear window blew out from the kenetic energy going through the cab, the cab absorbed it but it had to go somewhere.

Regardless if you were in the truck or Mustang, they're both just made of metal and plastic and can be replaced. Your life however, cannot. Glad you're okay man.

Wow, looks like quite a hit and sorry for the loss/accident - appears to have been a nice Ranger. Not sure why the airbags didn't deploy in a front end collision. Yes, THE important thing is that you and the other driver is OK and glad you were able to share the story and pics. I thought everyone in Maine has a Subie? Keep it safe guys.
