track times - what do u think it'll run?

this coming friday im going to a track that is 45 minutes from me. what u guys think that my times will be? unfortunitely i will be using these 315/35/17's sumitomo tires. also, this will be my 1st time down the track. mods r in the sig

Elevation is 1853 ft

do i have my hopes up too high? im hoping for high 13's

With an auto its gonna be hard. You're not stalled are you? Also that 14" antenna might kill your times..... :thumbsup:

im not stalled yet, i will be once i have the money for the cams, stall, gears an a tuner

Well..... Its all about the driver. In my car with the current setup, Minus the HCI and Nitrous (haven't ran yet) Oh and 285 Nitto 555's I cut a 13.8. But My best 60ft time was a 2.1. And to be honest I wasn't to unhappy seeing I had traction issues cause my tires were all hard and dry rotted like. Now I also have 4.10's and a 5 speed so usually that helps to get a quicker 1/4. But who knows. The 5.0 stock engine is kinda a different beast. I had a lot of getup and go then at the top of third.... pooof.... I kinda stopped accelerating as much.

I think with a stall you could definitively get your numbers. But yet again, its up to the driver. Hell, ask Paul. I think his mainly bone stock 5.0 got 13's.
