i don't really know why that was in the clip. because it really wasn't the soruce of my problem.

Looks good going down the track and the launch looks good from here. Now, you need to get the PI intake on there and make some more runs. Do you have the slip(s) to post?

Then this is the cobra. that i beat the second time. first time phone went off and i missed a gear. and it gave the cobra the win. even though i had a smaller time.. as you can see i put down a 9.37 and the cobra was a 9.4ish

1/8th mile tracks suck.

But other than that good runs!

My best 1.8th is 9.2 at 78.6 MPH...that was with some terrible 2.25 60 foot though.

Im sure with a good 60 I could be 9.0 or even 8.9.

Im going back to the track with some slicks...so I should get traction. :hammer:

Im hoping for 13.7 atleast.

Our track got rained out today so no test and tune :(

The 1/4 mile track near me sucks as far as track prep. Can't hold traction and has a bad bump halfway down the track.

To run good at either one requires your car to be setup for an 1/8th mile or a 1/4 mile. There are more 1/8 mile tracks near me so that is what my car is being setup for.

Im in the same boat. Only drag strip here in southern Iowa Is 1/8th. Its still fun though. :happydrunks:

stock gears. i like 8th mile tracks. haven't gone to a quarter before though

I see your from the DFW area. I Stayed in Arlington for 3 months and loved it down there. Im thinking about applying for some welding jobs and moving back down there. Its too cold here.
