I had a 1998 GT for 2 days before i traded it. I heard they were slow but i didnt think it would be THAT slow. Its either a 94/95 or a 99+ GT/Cobra for me. 2v sn95s are good cruisers and sound good but dont race it.
And dont roller paint that car.. Save up $400 bucks and take it to maaco if you must have a new paint job. Silver is one color that looks good with maaco.
Yeah the maaco out here is actually pretty decent.. Im really trying to put a 4v in here sometime soon... but for now, its just gettin exhaust and hopefully gears
I have had two 96 gt's and couldn't get used to the no torque havin 2v 4.6....sorry! "I'll take a 94-95 5.0 over a 2v 4.6 any day". Nice car and color though....
Lol I feel stupid... I kinda want my old car back. It was faster, less problems new tires, nicer rims, big hood. and it wasnt hit in the back.... right now Im trying to align this trunk so it closes all the way...
If I were you I would just get that thing running the way you want and worry about the paint last. As long as its fast it wont matter how sh***y that paint looks.
I know, I know.. but its hard for me to roll around in a car that draws attention for being ugly. But im gonna try and do most of the fast stuff first... I know my first mods to this car are x pipe and slps, and gears... I dont want to do anything to the engine cause it wont swap to the 4v if I get one.
wasn't your old black then blue stang originally red? I would never repaint a car a different colour unless i had the money to do it 100% right, and that's stripping EVERYTHING down to the bare unibody and getting everything repainted. I think painting a new colour(red over silver) is tacky...
