Thing will be a beast. Only thing I dont like is the notches to the rear bumper for tips. But who knows, you might like it.

Uhm, HE LL NO! I never did like that, thought it looked billy as could be. It will get a new rear cover on it, at least a used one that's in good shape. I absolutely hate when people do that, what's even worse is when they drill holes in it and poke the tips out of it.
I want it to be a clean, fast street car. No frills, it will still have power windows, power brakes, but that's about it. Everything else is all race car. I will get pictures of the cage after my wife cleans it out and feels it is picture worthy.

I won't run a cog drive on a centrifigul blower like this one. A 12 rib is not gonna slip. If the car ever needs to go to an F2, then it will get a cog drive. They are supposed to be built to take it.

Thanks man! I apppreciate the kind words. I am on the lookout for a good, clean rear bumper cover for a GT that I can put on this one. It's going to go for paint here soon. Was thinking I should yank the engine and send it over for paint before I get everything up in it and it gets overspray all over it. Found some pics of the roll bar, just got to get them hosted tonight.

you know a true car enthusiast when you see them, they dont really care a whole lot about the looks they care about the engine and its handling and well just the overall performance and well you can tell this is an ehthusiasts car cause the engine bay is far more cleaner than the outside lol you could eat off the engine, but have an asthma attack when you walk past the thing from the dust lol. one sweet ride though man A++++++++++++

Actually, the car has been sitting stuck in a corner of my shop. That's why it's dirty man. I am going to have my wife wash it off and take some more pics for me. It's going in for paint if I keep it. It will have just as wild of a paint job as my r/s car in my sig does. I am just on the fence as far as if I am keeping it or not.

yea i was just trying to mess with you, its a pretty sweet car though. if it were me id keep it because the engine is already good to go for now and since its a 5.0 it will be so much cheaper to mess with. if it were mine id just murder it out with a black paint job and some smoked lights all the way around and some black wheels. or just redo it red and black everything else out. im just a more plane kind of guy i dont like flashy. i care about whats under the hood and how the car performs lol regardless of wht you do im sure it will still be pretty sweet. if you keep it then keep us updated with each step you go with it id like to see the finished product

No worries man! I am going with the red paint as a base and some striping/custom paintwork done on it. Keeping the wheels as is, and it will have a to the windshield cowl hood. It is going to be a screamin, loud obnoxious car, so why not look the part? lol. That is, if I keep it. Still on the fence about that. I do like the car a lot, but do I really need yet another toy? That's what I have to decide. I would like to just get it running and see what it would run, and what power it would make, but we'll see if that happens.

as long as the drivetrain is good id keep it cause it will be cheap to repair if something goes wrong versus the expensive newer stuff. whats wrong with it that it wont run or is it just cause the interior is striped

Just needs finished, fuel system lines ran, radiator installed, finish installing the supercharger piping, get a belt on the waterpump and alt, etc, etc. It's a project that we were about 80% done with, but then sat for 2 years or longer.
