I have just put a fox body tranny in my 94 gt I used the fox body bellhousing and a 5/8" driveshaft spacer from UPR. Now my question is my crossmember did not line up to the tranny right do I need a fox body crossmember? It is the only thing that is giving me trouble is there any difference in the two? Any help appriciated

input shaft on the fox is shorter. you're gonna have some more issues than just the crossmember not lining up.

Read the WHOLE post. He swapped the bellhousing and fork to put the tranny where it needs to be...so NOW his only problem is the crossmember.

The crossmember SHOULD still line up. I'm not under my car right now but if you're having trouble, you might be able to flip it or slot the holes. You've got everything else covered...

So just do what you do in a Fox body when swapping a T5 for a Tremec 3550/TKO setup.

You have to undo the crossmember and slide it forward/backward.

why did you use the fox housing for? use your own housing and it should all fall into place. except for the output shaft that is shorter but other than that is all the same and since you got the spacer you will be set.

Because the input shaft is whats shorter not the output and if I used my bellhousing it would not properley seet in the crank.
