Trans mount

    Anyone running the prothane trans mount? Want to know all info such as, stability, noise ect. thanks in advance.

    Any stiff aftermarket mount far exceeds the performance of the stock crap and at the age of our cars, its time to replace them anyhow

    Nobody makes a poly mount for the t45 transmission. You have to get one for a t5 transmission and make the slots in the crossmember a little bit longer.

    I have the Prothane mount in my Cobra. I originally had it in my GT. The GT needed a Stifflers cross member for the mount to fit. I used a Stifflers cross member in the Cobra because It's a nice part.

    Like 96blak54 says on cars as old as ours it's time to replace the trans mount anyway. I also recommend the poly motor mounts. Mine had no rubber left between the metal plates...

    Ok, youre good. It must be because the mount is pushed back on the cobra transmission.
