3550 came stock in the 95R. In NEW condition they are OK. It will bolt to a T5 bell. Save your money and get a TKO.

With the right bell housing you can put it on anything. Unlike the 3650 and t45.

Not anymore. Both of them have adapter plates available that bolt right on and they can bolt to anything after that. You can get a BUILT one for less than a TKO 500 that will shift better, be lighter and bolt right back in with no other mods. Biggest reason to NOT run one IMO was that you couldn't do a SFI rated bell in them before but now you can.

Ohhh ok does it bolt up to a t5 bell?

Tremec bell, so no you have to buy a new bell. I had one in my 95, I had to manually align the driveshaft and if not in a fox you'll need a longer DS or a DS spacer as well as a fox style clutch fork. They are technically TKOs as well, they were the entry level model before the 500/600 series replaced the older style ones. And like all TKOs, they shift like a bucket off ass unless you have Liberty modify it with a sure shift kit and even then.

Im running a 3550 with a blowproof bellhousing in my car. From the research Ive read on them, the biggest complaint with them are the 10 spline input shafts. There are kits out there to upgrade the input and output shafts to tko specs. I stumbled upon a website of a place in Illinois that upgraded them for about 400 bucks and claims they are good for 900 hp after that, but i cant find that site now. Go figure.

You can just replace the input shaft yourself. Also a good idea to change the output shaft from 28 to 31.
