Tremec HP MTF or DexronIII? Either one better than the other? Or same thing?
I have a Tremec TKX 5-speed. I did the 500-mile fluid change a while back, so I’m up to snuff there. Seeking real life user feedback… THANKS!!

IMO there’s no reason to use anything other than what Ford recommends in a street car. Dex 3 is fine. Some beople recommend switching to gm synchromesh for smoother shifts but if you’re not having any issues I wouldn’t touch it.

I just bought my fluid straight from Tremec (T-56 Magnum). Can't go wrong.
