has anyone ever painted tribar rims, i was just wondering what they look like painted any pics

I think they would look alot better painted then silver.

But I think they would look much better if they were stripped and polished nice.

lol... and there are part painted and part polished rims

you cant polish them your self though can you, i was thinking of doing them gunmetal

You can't do a gun metal finish yourself. The rattle can stuff won't look good.

You can polish them yourself. It takes ALOT of work. You need to strip off all the paint, airplane remover will work. Then you need to sand smooth using a variety of different grit sand papers getting finer and finer. Wet sand, and polish... takes alot of time and elbow grease. But its doable

cuz you cant polish the center caps, and they dont look good with no center caps, have you tried the paint?

You can tell its a painted finish... Looks cheesy... JMPO
