Well there just Trick flow 2v heads for any year ranging 96-04, only difference is what type of compression you want. I'm looking into getting a pair in the future as well. Well if you can find ported PI heads for less, I would go that route, but the pros to the cylinder head is that you can run an aggressive cam etc.

Not true at all, Trick flow heads have the intake valve in a different side of he combustion chamber, they flow better then pi unported to unported and ported to ported. Trickflow head are good, some people make good power. I had a very good fried run 9.46's several times with a 2v and a ysi @ 28#'s. They flow well but to fork out that much money for the heads, if you already have the pi heads..... To me it wasn't justified.

Duff, how much power would someone running your exact combo but with TF's unported castings make over your ported PI's?

i made 390 on 10#'s of boost from an s trim and a auto. I have been having an issue with the mondo by pass but once i get the boost issue figured out it should be closer to high 400's possibly 500 rwhp

some consider high compression 11.5:1 ..... i have 13:1 and alot of good fridns are in the 15.5:1 .... i guess its all in what is "high" to you

I believe he was running in the mid 13's for his comppression, what kind of octane are you running with that compression?

Will TF heads unportted / comp 270 or 278 cam / intake plenum TB / full exhaust LT's put me at around 315HP and be boost friendly?

depends on the head's combustion chamber and the piston's dish size, 44cc then i think yes if you're running stock compression, but if you run 38cc the chances of detonation is greater so you would have run a low boost setting or use high octane fuel with more boost..

Either C10 or q16 from VP also working on a Sponsorship with Sunoco for some 260GTplus (104 Octane)

as stated figure out your compression ratio and that will determine what you need for an octane and if it will be sustainable in a boosted applicaton.

323 2V 9.0:1 c/r with 44cc TF heads/CMS Stg 3 Turbo cams through a stalled automatic. Should make some good power once it gets some boost.
