well I just bought a 3 bank chip from bama as I couldn't afford the tune a couple months ago. I am going to the dyno as soon as I get out of the hospital. It runs and no cel's or anything now but I think there is more there and just want to be sure it is safe. The mail order chips are ok but nothing like reading real world data on your car on that day.

well you could probably go with a can tune from us but I would suggest a dyno tune as your get a more accurate tune for your set up.

there might be some to gain there, but remember if you add stuff later you will want to do it later. I would upgrade your maf first, and ditch the pulles as they only end up taking out your alt for the 3hp they claim.

because what spins faster? Your alt? it actually spins slower, which taxes the voltage regulator and also keeps it from cooling properly. Everyone I known(including myself) has mysteriously lost an alt with in a year or two of installing them. At the very least be sure to keep your stock pullies. I almost sold mine but kept them thankfully. There is a reason why you will see people selling those used and looking for stock pullies. Once you start to step up to the bigger mods of head and a cam the few hp they gain at the result of slowing your cooling system and alt just isn't worth it IMO.

bama won't tune for the cams on these year cars. too many different variables. best to get a dyno tune.

Bama does have a dyno, and it's in Malvern PA. they use it to test stuff but they mostly focus on the newer cars. and they don't do customer cars sadly
