Turbo 4v's

buddy of mine has a 97 cobra vert, with a termi 4v, and on 19lbs, it put down 718 to the back tires.


thru the termi 6 speed.

was it turbod, because i know a guy that has an 04 mystichrome cobra with a whipple 2.3 at 19 lbs and makes 609/597 at the rear wheels. he has to be doing something different to get those types of #'s.

yep, its got a huge ass turbo on it.

that is sick. you should make a vid of that beast in action, if you buddy is cool with it of course

Here's my car...not completely done yet, but really close. (these are the only ones I have...I've done more, but don't have the pictures on this computer) I am building my own turbo kit for the car, using the stock headers. All stainless hot side, and weapon of choice is a Master Power 70mm turbo. Not anything crazy, but should spool quick and make some good power.

My boyfriend has a Twin Turbo 97 Cobra. He owns his own shop, so he built everything himself....I mean EVERYTHING. He built the intake, with his own custom fuel system (using 87 octane on the street and stock fuel system, and E85 shoots through the 2 60# injectors/cylinder when the car starts seeing boost), and ofcourse he built the kit himself. He uses the stock computer with a chip to control the timing and fuel system with the 87 octane, and then he controls everything else (E85, air fuel, boost etc) with a stand alone, Megasquirt.

I would love to see more pictures of yours. That's exactly what I would like to do, my dad and I just finished our shop and installed our lift so its about to be on! =)
