Depends on what year Turbocoupe. 83-86s had 7.5"s with 3.45's and drums. If its from an 87-88, it has an 8.8" with 3.55's and discs.

Grab the tag# off the id plate if you can, you can look it up that way too. but if its definantly from a Turbocoupe then its an 8.8" with 3.55's (stock)

They are the same width as a SN rear end, but it has vented discs. A far as the ratio goes,if it came from an auto car it's a 3:55 if it came out of a
5 speed car,it's a 3:73.

Verts have a different gear too...

And like said before, same rears. Direct bolt in... I bolted in an sn95 8.8 into a fox.

Also I think its the other way around on this, autos are 3.73s and manual 3.55s. Don't hold me to it, but I'm 95% sure thats correct. Been a long time for me.

The turbo'd foxes weren't only coupes... but that not the point, the point was that vert have different gears too

They only made Turbocoupe Thunderbirds, SVO's, Merkurs, and Capri's, and a few regular Mustangs in the late 70s early 80s. AFAIK, no 2.3L Turbo Ford ever made was a vert.

Incorrect to say that they were all coupes, some were hatch backs...

But again... The point I was trying to make is that convertibles have different gears too... I'm not saying that SVO made a vert...

You must be drinkin again Greg, your misreading this. Thunderbird turboCOUPE is the car, like Mustang GT.

I wasn't saying all 2.3 Turbo Fords were coupes.
