I have happened upon a turbo kit for a good price. The only problem is it's for an 87-93. Can anyone tell me if it will work on a 95. if not what are the differences.

Re: Turbo Kit

won't be a direct bolt on. You would prob have to modify to fit in areas. First thing that comes to mind is the differences in the intake elbow/tb. Sounds like you'd have to at least do the fox tb mod. W/O actually knowing much about the kit it's really hard to say for sure if it's worth your time. Unless your getting a killer deal or have some decent fabrication / welding skills it maybe be a better bet to buy a vehicle specific kit.

That is because B&G realizes not everyone has money falling out of their pockets.

They arn't looking for some huge amazing profit, they are apart of the real world.

Thanks for the info. I guess my next question would be turbo or supercharger? I've had bottled cars before but I would prefer to go with boost this time. I love what seems to be the explosiveness of a turbo but my car is mostly street driven on the weekends. Would a turbo be a good idea for the street?

Just get one from B&G Turbo Kits.

Read my mind... http://bgturbokits.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=27&products_id=197

That is a lot cheaper than i have seen in the past. And compared to HPPerformance's kit ($4500), that seems to be
a good deal.

But...with the B&G kit you have to add injectors, MAF, and a fuel pump. And it is $250 to add ceramic coated parts and $225 to have the same size wastegate as the HP kit. It all equals out in the end because the HP Performance kit already comes with all of that. Both are quality kits but I rather have the HP. just my .02. On a side note - Hellion needs to come out with a kit for 94-95. And I know that they use to have problems with the Master Power Turbos and Garretts are AWESOME!

Ive had boost before w/ a Paxton Novi 2000 and Im looking at getting one of the B&G Kits for next year. Turbo's seem really cool when it comes to making power and one big plus is no belts to deal with.

Granted the B&G Kit does not come w/ that stuff as mentioned above but you can buy them cheaper then what they cost you wih the kit from HP plus HP's wait time for kits is horrible from what Ive read recently. Wait time for the B&G kit is about 6 wks
